High School of the Pacific is a non-sectarian private school. We welcome students of all faiths and encourage them to attend religious services of their choice.  HSP provides transportation for students to attend Catholic, Seventh Day Adventist, Baha'i, Salvation Army or other services of their preference.  High School of the Pacific, though founded by Rev. Moon who is a religious leader, does not teach religious education per se or promote a particular theological view.

High School of the Pacific is a leadership academy, and gives emphasis to character education, true family values and teaches principles of world peace.  HSP offers one popular elective in World Religions also.  Mr. Michael Nakade, the teacher of World Religions, holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in religious studies, and happens to be a long time member of the Daifukuji Buddhist Temple in Honalo, Hawaii.
